Sathuragiri Hills, also known as "Sundara Mahalingam" is situated in Virudhunagar district in Tamil Nadu. Located about 10 km from Watrap Village. The name Sathuragiri Hills or chathuragiri was derived from Chathur (4) Veda (Vedas) Giri (Hill), where all the four Vedas met and formed the hill. This Hill also called by other names "Mahalingam Hill", "Siddargal Boomi" where 18 Siddhas used to live here. It is also said that Siddhars still worship Lord Shiva.

How to Reach Sathuragiri Hills:-
By Road: From Madurai it's about 80 KM, head towards Tirumangalam, Krishnan Koil Bus top and then to Watrap, Thaaniparai.
By Train: One has get on to Shenkottai Express from Chennai and get down at Srivilliputhur. From there, government RTC buses available to reach Thaniparai.
If you are a First time visitor, it takes about 4 to 5 hours to climb the Top of Hill.
