About Pathrol Kali Mata Mandir Information-Madhupur

Madhupur has in its midst an ancient beautiful Kali temple popularly known as Pathrol Kali Mata Mandir. This temple was built by Raja Digvijay Singh about 6 to 7 centuries ago. There are nine more temples close to the main temple that devotees can also visit. The temple which is situated on the way to Lalgarh has eastern architecture that showcases the deul style. It is believed that the deity in the sanctum sanctorum was brought all the way from Kolkata.
