Both parks serve as popular places for relaxation and tourist centers which are spread over acres of land and consist of a 12 ft. high bronze statue of Mr. O.P. Jindal, after whom the parks have been named. The parks are lush green with beautiful flowers, a meditation center, a cricket ground; children’s play area, basket-ball court, a community hall etc. The unique feature of the park is that it has a Sundial that shows the time. Hundreds of people visit the park especially on holidays as a place of relaxation and entertainment.
The park areas has several points of rainwater-harvesting which helps in utilizing rain water in maintaining the park instead of drawing water from other water resources.
A community hall to facilitate the locals has been planned within the parks which will cover an area of 7200 sq. ft to organize social activities, functions, events, marriages, parties and other religious gatherings.
