How to reach Chhota Udaipur By Bus-Car-Taxi-Train

 By Air - Vadodara Airport or Civil Airport Harni is the nearest airport to reach Chhota Udaipur. Vadodara is connected by air to Mumbai, Rajkot, Porbandar, Junagadh, Ahmedabad and Bhavnagar in Gujarat. Tourists can hire local taxis from here to respective destinations.

• Railway route – Palanpur Junction Railway Station, which is located at a distance of 17.3 kms from Chhota Udaipur, is the nearest railway station to reach the city. Vadodara, a major railway junction is situated on the Western Railway, from where Mumbai, Delhi and Ahmedabad can be accessed easily. Metered taxis are available for the tourists to reach the railway station.

• Bus route – Chhota Udaipur can be easily accessed by tourists because regular bus services from GSRTC are available for travelers’ convenience.

• Road route - Chhota Udaipur has got one of the best road networks in Vadodara. Vadodara, which is nearest city to reach Chhota Udaipur, is 112 km away from Ahmedabad and 420 km away from Mumbai. The city is located on National Highway 8.  There are several state transport (ST) buses and private luxury coaches from all over Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, and Rajasthan. Ahmedabad-Vadodara intercity buses take 2 hours and runs every 15 minutes.  There are also many private bus companies on or near Station Road. Tickets differ depending to the model of bus, but the aggregate rate is Rs 100/- to Ahmedabad and Rs 200/- to Mumbai. Tourists can also rent a car with a driver to explore the city and its neighborhoods. Rates start from Rs. 650/- without air-conditioning to Rs. 2200/- for luxury vehicles, for 8 hrs or 80 km per day.
