About Gandhi Stupa Information-Vijayawada

Atop the Gandhi Hills, also called as Orr Hills, there is one of the tallest buildings of Vijayawada, the Gandhi Stupa. This Stupa is about 52ft and was made public in the year 1968 by the then President of India, Dr. Zakhir Hussain as a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. There is also Gandhi Memorial Library, a planetarium with music and light shows on Mahatma Gandhi’s life and a toy train that go round the hill.
