Annavaram City Travel Guide

Annavaram, the name in which “Anna” means ‘your desire or your wish’ and “varam” means ‘boon’, is said to be a place that fulfils all your wishes if you have faith in the Lord residing here. A small but a prominent village situated in East Godavari District, Annavaram is the land of Lord Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swami Temple and Goddess Anantalaxmi Satyavathi Ammavaru. Though the temple is not of an ancient origin, it pars with any other temple in terms of sanctity and supremacy. One can feel the ever-flowing grace of Lord Sri Satyanarayana Swami (incarnation of Lord Vishnu), who is the presiding deity of this temple. The temple stands graciously on a hill called Ratnagiri.
