Valetivaripalem is a small town in the Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh. In spite of being small, the town is very famous for Sri Malyadri Narasimha Swamy temple which is also known as Malakonda. The nearest towns are Kandukur, Singarayakonda and Kanigiri.
The temple is open for public only on Saturdays. The climate here is very hot during summer and the ideal time to visit the place is during September to January. Carrying packaged drinking water is highly recommended as the underground water available here is highly affected with Fluoride, which is widely used for drinking purpose, and by consuming this water over several years most of the local people have been affected with Osteoporosis (a chronic bone disorder/disease).
