Tuni Andhra Pradesh: Tuni is a town in the East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, lying at a distance of 100km southwest to Visakhapatnam city. It is a famous marketing centre, for more than forty surrounding villages, showcasing several agricultural products. Every Sunday, village trades fair (Santha) is conducted where people from all surrounding villages come here to trade off their goods.
The town is also known for mangoes, exporting to different parts of the country and overseas as well. Other major products include betel leaves, jute bags and Cashew nuts. A nearby coastal village Pentakota, which is 11.5km away from Tuni, has a light house for ships and the district head quarters; Kakinada town is 64 km far-off the south.
