Sree Siddaganga Mutt Temple, Tumkur: Sree Siddaganga Mutt is an ancient ashram in Tumkur, which is situated amidst a serene and colourful landscape at a distance of 63 Km from Bangalore. The Mutt that was established by Sree Gosala Siddeshwara Swami ji in 15th century A.D, offers unique service to the needy and poor. Serving the true purpose of a Mutt, Siddaganga offers education to more than 8000 poor children with free food and shelter. Discrimination of caste or creed is strictly exempted here. The Mutt also runs a school for blind where nearly 100 blind children are given free education and food with an independent hostel facility.
