Gurudwara Nanak Jhira Saheb is known to be one of Holiest Place for Sikh devotees in India and is believed that Saint Guru Nanak visited the place during famine in this region. The Guru performed a miracle at the request of the locals which resulted in a spring of water burst from the laterite rock mountain. Till this day one can witness crystal clear water flowing from it.
This place is Bidar's main attraction and lots of tourists from all parts of the country visit during the months of November and March. The Nanak Jhira Sahib consists of a sarovar (lake) and Amrut- Kund and a number of suites and rooms for lodging the pilgrims. There is a Guru-Ka-Langar where free food is served irrespective of caste and creeds.
