Chhota Udaipur is a historical city located at 22°19′12″N 74°0′36″E in Vadodara district in the state of Gujarat, India. Located towards the border with Rajasthan state, Chhota Udaipur shares its history with Devgadh Baria and Rajpipla as one of the three princely states of eastern Gujarat. The city also serves as a municipality and is the headquarters of Chhota Udaipur taluka.
Chhota Udaipur or Chhota Udepur had a population of 22,987 out of which males consisted of 51% while females 49% according to the 2001 India census. The city boasts an average literacy rate of 69% that is more than the average literacy rate of India, which is 59.5%. Chhota Udaipur has got a lot of industries and the city is represented on a large scale at the national level for the manufacture of largest dolomite lums and powder.
